How-to using Adobe
Elements
This is a great kit for any little girl
phptps. It can be used in your digital album or
printed as a mini-book. I'll take you through the steps
of opening your elements in your photo editing
software, adding and editing your photo's, and the layout of
your pages. This is a fast and easy project. You should
be able to complete a couple of pages in less than one hour. If you need help

elements needed complete this project click

Step 1
Working with your elements Once
you have all your elements downloaded, open the
background paper and ripped edge that you plan to use.
Simply click on the ripped edge and drag it to you background
page. This will create a new layer. *
Always remember to save. The first time you save make to
do so using "Save As" so that you
won't replace your background paper

Step 2
Adding & editing your
photos Once
you have your background layer how you want it open the
pictures files that you plan to use. Again, just drag and
drop them where you want them on the back ground paper.
Don't worry you can rearrange later. You may need to
change the size of your pictures to make them fit with
the page. To do this click on the picture and place you
cursor in the bottom corner, while holding down the
shift key, click and pull to the desired size. *
If your pictures don't look as good as you'd like them
to use the Enhance pull down menu to adjust the lighting
and color of your photo. In this case, I also needed to
reduce red eye. To do this find the red eye removal tool
on the left of your screen and use it to create a box over the red eye.
It will remove the red coloring. |

selection tool from the left of your screen. Select
around the outside of the frame. Then in your layer menu
at the bottom right of your screen, click on the picture
layer you wish to cut. To cut the excess area
press Ctrl+C. Do the same for your other picture. Once
this is done open the rest of your elements and drag
& drop them into place. To add your words simply
click on the Type tool. Choose your font and type in
whatever you want to say. You can rotate your text to
better fit your tag by switching to the arrow tool and
click just outside the box around your words. Rotate
