A Little About Google AdWords
and Google AdSense
So I'm sure that you have seen these "Google" or
sponsored ads scattered through out many of your favorite web
sites. As you may have noticed you can see them through out our
web page on the left side of your screen. I'd like to take this opportunity
to explain why we and other sites site post such ads. Whether
you have a web site of your own or are thinking of creating one
and would like to learn more or are just a active browser
curious to find out what Google AdWords is all about we
can help!
Very basically, as I'm sure you've already figured out, Google AdWords is an advertising program created by Google to bring
targeted ads to specific customers, i.e. you. It is referred to
as Google AdWords if you are the advertiser and Google AdSense
if you are posting the advertisements as we do. This type of
advertising has a lot of great advantages, in that it provides
targeted ads to you the consumer and also allows smaller unknown
websites to get the word about the products or service they
offer.
We post Google AdWords on this site for two reasons. First, I
help supplement the operation cost of the web site and
second to provide great information and products to our
visitors. When I first gave AdWords a try I was a little skeptical,
but I have been very impressed with the quality of ads Google
AdSense provides our visitors with.
AdWords works by matching ads to users who are already looking
for those specific products or services. For example if you are
on one of our page about digital photography, you will probably
find ads about digital photography or other related topics. We
hope that this will allow you to find addition resource out
there on the world wide web. Every time you click on a ad we get
paid a small, unknown percentage of what Google is paid by the advertiser.
Advertisers only pay Google if some one clicks on their ads.
I've found this to be a great program with benefits for everyone
